While we put so much effort into preparing for job interviews, we naturally hope for a fair return and a satisfying outcome. When it comes to negotiating an offer, it can sometimes feel like a tense game of chess – you never really know what your opponent (HR / recruiter) is holding. Unfortunately, things don’t always turn out the way we expect.
