Let’s get started! Know your identity: Who you are?

People might be struggled when being asked this question. However, do remember you have a lot of identities instead of one. For example, you are a daughter / son, a student / a part time worker / a book lover and an adventurer simultaneously. You should have different identites or even like having different “positive labels” to describe yourself.

Secondly, you have to find out your purpose in life. It could be something like earning lots of money for a better life, helping people in need, being a great singer / dancer, or being a football coach etc. If you are not able to discover your purpose in life, you can think about below questions:

– What are your ultimate goals?

– What drives you to become a better person?

– What is your purpose when you are doing the things you like?

Other than knowing your purpose, you need to know your values as well. Questions like below would help you to figure them out.

– What are the most meaningful and least satisified moments in your life?

– What Stories or people / celebrities inspire you and why?

– What really matters to you? Money, family, life, etc.

– Describe your ideal working and living environment

– What would make your life better or worse?

– What would make the world a better place for you?

– The accomplishments you’re most proud of and drive you to become who you are.

When finished above, you will have a clear picture of who you are. Next time, I will share the details of 2nd step: Differentate: What makes you unique?

See you all next time!
